The Nursery Switch

The slowly dimming light switch - When you put your child to bed and switch out the lights, what you in fact do is plunge your little one into darkness - which can be a frightening experience.

The new Nursery Switch will, over a delayed time of 17-18 minutes, slowly dim down the lights and then switch off completely; thus creating a gentler, more soporific and less traumatic end to the day.

The Nursery Switch is also very safe, with only 5 volts being present at the switch. This switch is in fact a small sensor that can be adhered behind a faceplate of your choice and operated by a simple touch, Your faceplate can be made of virtually anything, glass, plastic, ceramic or even metal and the design is totally up to you! The sensor is connected by 2 wires to small a controller that can be placed within the wall or ceiling cavity and which provides the switching and dimming of the mains voltage lighting circuit. Retrofitting of the Nursery Switch should be carried out by a qualified electrician and any existing wiring can usually be used.
